Updated description of resource Spectrum File in Namibia HIV Estimates 2024 from
Ver. Namibia_2024_04_15, Spectrum 6.35 used: KOS adults and children rerun, UA run. 1. Adjusted population from 2.6 to 3mill using 1.148. This was informed by recently released 2023 Census preliminary results that reported that the Namibia population was 3,022,41 in 2023 as opposed to the 2.6mil projection from WPP. 2. Changed the ART adjustment factor from 1.0 to 0.97 for both children and adults for Male and Female. 3.Updated the future ART coverage for children. 4. Changed the % already on ART retained at delivery from 93% to 98%. 5. Changed the % starting ART retained at delivery from 93% to 95%.
