Updated description of resource Geographic Data in Ethiopia HIV Estimates 2024 from
Ethiopia 2024 zones level shapefile prepared by Rachel Esra. The following changes have been made relative to previous years: * Regional changes: SNNPR split into South and Central Ethiopia. Total number of regions changed from 13 to 15. Naomi area IDs were retained for unchanged regions as regional boundaries were consistent with 2023 boundary file. New area IDs generated for South and Central Ethiopia. * Zonal changes: New zone level boundary file provided with 143 zones relative to historical with 164 zones. Historical file not aligned with new boundaries and new area IDs generated for all zones to reflect new boundaries. * Spectrum region codes updates: Central Ethiopia (22), South Ethiopia (23), South West Ethiopia (24) Updated on 2024-02-18 to align with Spectrum codes for Regions.
